STANDING ORDER

To

All Naib Tahsildars,

Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of an inam by inamdars.

2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 1 to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees.

3. The Naib Tahsildar shall ensure that mutation is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Revenue Divisional Officer within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan.
