STANDING ORDER

To

All Excise Guards,

Subject: The keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers under the Delhi Excise Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Excise Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 10 of 2009), the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a bonded warehouse by bonded warehouse keepers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every bonded warehouse keeper carrying on the keeping of a bonded warehouse shall make an application in Form E to the Collector within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Excise Guard shall ensure that excisable article is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Collector within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
