STANDING ORDER

All Sports Officers,

Subject: The running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the General Administration Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a swimming pool carrying on the running of a swimming pool shall make an application in Form F to the Disciplinary Panel within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Sports Officer shall ensure that code of conduct is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Disciplinary Panel within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Telangana.
