STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Registrar of Societies,

Subject: The audit of accounts of a trust by auditors of a trust under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983 (Uttar Pradesh Act 29 of 1983), the Ports Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the audit of accounts of a trust by auditors of a trust.

2. The matter has been examined. Every auditor of a trust carrying on the audit of accounts of a trust shall make an application in Form H to the Endowments Tribunal within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Assistant Registrar of Societies shall ensure that register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Endowments Tribunal within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Ports Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
