STANDING ORDER

To

All Defence Estates Officers,

Subject: The supply of stores by contractors supplying stores to the Force under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982), the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the supply of stores by contractors supplying stores to the Force.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor supplying stores to the Force carrying on the supply of stores shall make an application in Form D to the Commanding Officer of the Unit within three days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Defence Estates Officer shall ensure that identity card is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commanding Officer of the Unit within three days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
