STANDING ORDER
To
All Naib Tahsildars,
Subject: The cultivation of land as tenant by tenants under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Revenue Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the cultivation of land as tenant by tenants.
2. The matter has been examined. Every tenant carrying on the cultivation of land as tenant shall make an application in Form 8 to the Land Tribunal within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. The Naib Tahsildar shall ensure that certificate of occupancy is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Land Tribunal within ninety days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
