STANDING ORDER

To

All Sub-Inspectors of Excise,

Subject: The retail vend of liquor by retail vendors under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968 (Andhra Pradesh Act 17 of 1968), the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the retail vend of liquor by retail vendors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every retail vendor carrying on the retail vend of liquor shall make an application in Form C to the Excise Commissioner within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Sub-Inspector of Excise shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Excise Commissioner within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
