STANDING ORDER

To

All Internal Auditors,

Subject: The submission of accounts for audit by auditees under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 (Gujarat Act 11 of 1999), the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the submission of accounts for audit by auditees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every auditee carrying on the submission of accounts for audit shall make an application in Form GFR 19 to the Finance Commission within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Internal Auditor shall ensure that bill is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Finance Commission within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Gujarat.
