STANDING ORDER

All Inspectors of Stamps,

Subject: The execution of agreements for sale by developers executing agreements for sale under the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Stamp Act, 1999 (Rajasthan Act 14 of 1999), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the execution of agreements for sale by developers executing agreements for sale.

2. The matter has been examined. Every developer executing agreements for sale carrying on the execution of agreements for sale shall make an application in Form E to the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees.

3. The Inspector of Stamps shall ensure that certificate of stamp duty is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Rajasthan.
