STANDING ORDER

To

All Gram Sevaks,

Subject: The working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Rajasthan Act 13 of 1994), the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the working of a brick kiln in a village by owners of a brick kiln in a village.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a brick kiln in a village carrying on the working of a brick kiln in a village shall make an application in Form 5 to the District Collector within seven days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Gram Sevak shall ensure that ferry is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Collector within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan.
