STANDING ORDER

All Building Inspectors,

Subject: The development of land by developers under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the General Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the development of land by developers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every developer carrying on the development of land shall make an application in Form E to the Town Planning Authority within seven days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Building Inspector shall ensure that register of properties is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Town Planning Authority within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
