STANDING ORDER

To

All Municipal Engineers,

Subject: The ownership of a building by owners of a building under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the ownership of a building by owners of a building.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building carrying on the ownership of a building shall make an application in Form H to the Development Authority within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. The Municipal Engineer shall ensure that street is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Development Authority within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
