STANDING ORDER

To

All Superintendents of the Home,

Subject: The running of an anganwadi centre by anganwadi centres under the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra State Commission for Women Act, 1993 (Maharashtra Act 15 of 1993), the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of an anganwadi centre by anganwadi centres.

2. The matter has been examined. Every anganwadi centre carrying on the running of an anganwadi centre shall make an application in Form III to the Juvenile Justice Board within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of ten rupees.

3. The Superintendent of the Home shall ensure that register is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Juvenile Justice Board within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra.
