STANDING ORDER
To
All Patwaris,
Subject: The possession of land by persons in possession of land under the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Rajasthan Act 15 of 1956), the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the possession of land by persons in possession of land.
2. The matter has been examined. Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application in Form 7 to the Collector within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. The Patwari shall ensure that parcel of land is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Collector within seven days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Law Department, Government of Rajasthan.
