STANDING ORDER

All District Sports Officers,

Subject: The running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Finance Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a swimming pool by operators of a swimming pool.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a swimming pool carrying on the running of a swimming pool shall make an application in Form D to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The District Sports Officer shall ensure that sample is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Telangana.
