STANDING ORDER

All Ward Officers,

Subject: The running of licensed premises by licensees under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of licensed premises by licensees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the running of licensed premises shall make an application in Form H to the Town Planning Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Ward Officer shall ensure that notice of demolition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Town Planning Authority within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
