STANDING ORDER

To

All Waqf Officers,

Subject: The keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall make an application in Form D to the Endowments Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Waqf Officer shall ensure that lease of trust property is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Endowments Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
