STANDING ORDER
To
All Licensing Officers,
Subject: The ownership of a building by owners of a building under the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Karnataka Town and Country Planning Act, 1963 (Karnataka Act 11 of 1963), the Urban Development Department, Government of Karnataka hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the ownership of a building by owners of a building.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a building carrying on the ownership of a building shall make an application in Form F to the Town Vending Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. The Licensing Officer shall ensure that licence is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Town Vending Committee within sixty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Urban Development Department, Government of Karnataka.
