STANDING ORDER

To

All Emergency Officers,

Subject: The storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the storage of relief materials by suppliers of relief materials.

2. The matter has been examined. Every supplier of relief materials carrying on the storage of relief materials shall make an application in Form A to the National Executive Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Emergency Officer shall ensure that fire safety certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Executive Committee within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
