STANDING ORDER

To

All Examination Controllers,

Subject: The imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009 (Gujarat Act 8 of 2009), the Labour Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the imparting of vocational training by operators of a vocational training centre.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a vocational training centre carrying on the imparting of vocational training shall make an application in Form H to the Government of Gujarat within seven days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Examination Controller shall ensure that textbook is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Gujarat within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Gujarat.
