STANDING ORDER

All Deputy Registrars,

Subject: The management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of a co-operative housing society by co-operative housing societies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every co-operative housing society carrying on the management of a co-operative housing society shall make an application in Form F to the Housing Board within one hundred and eighty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Registrar shall ensure that project is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Housing Board within one hundred and eighty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
