STANDING ORDER

All Block Development Officers,

Subject: The running of a common service centre by operators of a common service centre under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 (Rajasthan Act 13 of 1994), the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a common service centre by operators of a common service centre.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a common service centre carrying on the running of a common service centre shall make an application in Form 4 to the Gram Sabha within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Block Development Officer shall ensure that demand notice is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Gram Sabha within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Rajasthan.
