STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Registrar of Societies,

Subject: The administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Information Technology Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the administration of a temple by executives officer of a temple.

2. The matter has been examined. Every executive officer of a temple carrying on the administration of a temple shall make an application in Form B to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Assistant Registrar of Societies shall ensure that trust property is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Deputy Charity Commissioner within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
