STANDING ORDER

To

All Circles Inspector of Excise,

Subject: The manufacture of denatured spirit by manufacturers of denatured spirit under the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Excise Act, 1915 (Madhya Pradesh Act 2 of 1915), the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the manufacture of denatured spirit by manufacturers of denatured spirit.

2. The matter has been examined. Every manufacturer of denatured spirit carrying on the manufacture of denatured spirit shall make an application in Form G to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Circle Inspector of Excise shall ensure that still is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Deputy Commissioner of Excise within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
