STANDING ORDER
To
All Village Accountants,
Subject: The holding of an inam by inamdars under the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954 (Delhi Act 8 of 1954), the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the holding of an inam by inamdars.
2. The matter has been examined. Every inamdar carrying on the holding of an inam shall make an application in Form 2 to the State Government within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.
3. The Village Accountant shall ensure that record of rights is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Government within forty-five days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Tourism Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
