STANDING ORDER

To

All Authorised Officers,

Subject: The import of inputs under an advance authorisation by holders of an advance authorisation under the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Special Economic Zones (Special Provisions) Act, 2005 (Tamil Nadu Act 18 of 2005), the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the import of inputs under an advance authorisation by holders of an advance authorisation.

2. The matter has been examined. Every holder of an advance authorisation carrying on the import of inputs under an advance authorisation shall make an application in Form ANF-2A to the Board of Approval within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Authorised Officer shall ensure that importer-exporter code is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Approval within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Industries and Commerce Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
