STANDING ORDER

To

All Deputy Registrars,

Subject: The maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies under the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Buildings (Lease, Rent and Eviction) Control Act, 1960 (Andhra Pradesh Act 15 of 1960), the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the maintenance of a housing complex by facility management agencies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every facility management agency carrying on the maintenance of a housing complex shall make an application in Form E to the Adjudicating Officer within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The Deputy Registrar shall ensure that escrow account is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Adjudicating Officer within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Housing Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
