STANDING ORDER

To

All Sanitary Inspectors,

Subject: The running of a cinema by operators of a cinema within the municipal limits under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a cinema by operators of a cinema within the municipal limits.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a cinema within the municipal limits carrying on the running of a cinema shall make an application in Form E to the Town Planning Authority within twenty-one days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Sanitary Inspector shall ensure that register of properties is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Town Planning Authority within twenty-one days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Home Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
