STANDING ORDER

To

All Excise Guards,

Subject: The wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors under the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Excise Act, 1968 (Andhra Pradesh Act 17 of 1968), the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the wholesale vend of liquor by wholesale vendors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every wholesale vendor carrying on the wholesale vend of liquor shall make an application in Form D to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of fifty thousand rupees.

3. The Excise Guard shall ensure that consignment is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Government of Andhra Pradesh within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
