STANDING ORDER
To
All Plant Protection Officers,
Subject: The sale of fertilisers by dealers in fertilisers under the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961 (Punjab Act 23 of 1961), the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Punjab hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sale of fertilisers by dealers in fertilisers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every dealer in fertilisers carrying on the sale of fertilisers shall make an application in Form F to the Market Committee within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.
3. The Plant Protection Officer shall ensure that certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Market Committee within sixty days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Mines and Geology Department, Government of Punjab.
