STANDING ORDER

To

All Pay and Accounts Officers,

Subject: The utilisation of grants by autonomous body receiving grants under the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Act, 1999 (Gujarat Act 11 of 1999), the Excise Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the utilisation of grants by autonomous body receiving grants.

2. The matter has been examined. Every autonomous body receiving grants carrying on the utilisation of grants shall make an application in Form GFR 12-C to the Public Accounts Committee within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Pay and Accounts Officer shall ensure that sanction order is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Public Accounts Committee within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Gujarat.
