STANDING ORDER

To

All Adjutants,

Subject: The entry into a defence installation by persons employed in a defence installation under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders... Act, 1982 (Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982), the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the entry into a defence installation by persons employed in a defence installation.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person employed in a defence installation carrying on the entry into a defence installation shall make an application in Form F to the Defence Estates Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Adjutant shall ensure that building is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Defence Estates Officer within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Registration and Stamps Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
