STANDING ORDER
To
All Civil Defence Officers,
Subject: The operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation under the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Delhi Fire Service Act, 2009 (Delhi Act 2 of 2009), the General Administration Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the operation of a hazardous installation by owners of a hazardous installation.
2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a hazardous installation carrying on the operation of a hazardous installation shall make an application in Form C to the National Executive Committee within three days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.
3. The Civil Defence Officer shall ensure that fire safety certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Executive Committee within three days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the General Administration Department, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
