STANDING ORDER
To
All Inspectors of Schools,
Subject: The teaching in a recognised school by teachers under the Maharashtra Universities Act, 2016, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Universities Act, 2016 (Maharashtra Act 6 of 2016), the Education Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the teaching in a recognised school by teachers.
2. The matter has been examined. Every teacher carrying on the teaching in a recognised school shall make an application in Form B to the Director of Education within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.
3. The Inspector of Schools shall ensure that mark sheet is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Education within ninety days.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Maharashtra.
