STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistant Rent Controllers,

Subject: The certification of construction by architect certifying a projects under the Tamil Nadu Housing Board Act, 1961, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Tamil Nadu Housing Board Act, 1961 (Tamil Nadu Act 17 of 1961), the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the certification of construction by architect certifying a projects.

2. The matter has been examined. Every architect certifying a project carrying on the certification of construction shall make an application in Form A to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Assistant Rent Controller shall ensure that tenancy agreement is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Registrar of Co-operative Housing Societies within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.
