STANDING ORDER

To

All Inspectors of Motor Vehicles,

Subject: The aggregation of transport services by aggregators under the Kerala Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund Act, 1985, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Kerala Motor Transport Workers Welfare Fund Act, 1985 (Kerala Act 21 of 1985), the Excise Department, Government of Kerala hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the aggregation of transport services by aggregators.

2. The matter has been examined. Every aggregator carrying on the aggregation of transport services shall make an application in Form 30 to the State Transport Authority within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Inspector of Motor Vehicles shall ensure that register of vehicles is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the State Transport Authority within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Excise Department, Government of Kerala.
