STANDING ORDER

To

All Sanitary Inspectors,

Subject: Street vending by street vendors under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to street vending by street vendors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every street vendor carrying on street vending shall make an application in Form D to the Standing Committee within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees.

3. The Sanitary Inspector shall ensure that sanitary certificate is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Standing Committee within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
