STANDING ORDER

To

All Relief Officers,

Subject: The running of a fuel station by operators of a fuel station under the Gujarat State Disaster Management Act, 2003, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Gujarat State Disaster Management Act, 2003 (Gujarat Act 20 of 2003), the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Gujarat hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the running of a fuel station by operators of a fuel station.

2. The matter has been examined. Every operator of a fuel station carrying on the running of a fuel station shall make an application in Form B to the District Authority within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Relief Officer shall ensure that incident report is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Authority within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Government of Gujarat.
