STANDING ORDER

To

All District Sports Officers,

Subject: The organisation of sport by sports bodies under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Agriculture Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the organisation of sport by sports bodies.

2. The matter has been examined. Every sports body carrying on the organisation of sport shall make an application in Form A to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees.

3. The District Sports Officer shall ensure that register of athletes is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within fourteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Agriculture Department, Government of Telangana.
