STANDING ORDER

To

All Nazirs,

Subject: The management of property in the custody of the court by court receivers under the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Laws (Reforms and Amendment) Act, 1954 (Uttar Pradesh Act 24 of 1954), the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the management of property in the custody of the court by court receivers.

2. The matter has been examined. Every court receiver carrying on the management of property in the custody of the court shall make an application in Form G to the District Judge within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees.

3. The Nazir shall ensure that warrant is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the District Judge within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Commercial Taxes Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
