STANDING ORDER

To

All Inspectors of Schools,

Subject: The giving of private tuition by private tutors under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982 (Andhra Pradesh Act 1 of 1982), the Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the giving of private tuition by private tutors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private tutor carrying on the giving of private tuition shall make an application in Form G to the Board of Secondary Education within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Inspector of Schools shall ensure that recognition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Board of Secondary Education within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
