STANDING ORDER

To

All Assistants Director of Education,

Subject: The giving of private tuition by private tutors under the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982 (Andhra Pradesh Act 1 of 1982), the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the giving of private tuition by private tutors.

2. The matter has been examined. Every private tutor carrying on the giving of private tuition shall make an application in Form E to the Commission within fifteen days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Assistant Director of Education shall ensure that mark sheet is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Commission within fifteen days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Labour Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
