STANDING ORDER

All Health Officers,

Subject: The carrying on of a trade by persons carrying on a trade within the municipal limits under the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966 (Maharashtra Act 37 of 1966), the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the carrying on of a trade by persons carrying on a trade within the municipal limits.

2. The matter has been examined. Every person carrying on a trade within the municipal limits carrying on the carrying on of a trade shall make an application in Form C to the Standing Committee within thirty days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand five hundred rupees.

3. The Health Officer shall ensure that notice of demolition is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Standing Committee within thirty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Maharashtra.
