STANDING ORDER

To

All Auditors of Trusts,

Subject: The hereditary management of a temple by hereditary trustees under the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (Andhra Pradesh Act 30 of 1987), the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the hereditary management of a temple by hereditary trustees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hereditary trustee carrying on the hereditary management of a temple shall make an application in Form H to the Waqf Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Auditor of Trusts shall ensure that donation receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Waqf Tribunal within one hundred and twenty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh.
