STANDING ORDER

To

All Sanitary Inspectors,

Subject: The carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade by owners of a dangerous or offensive trade under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 (Uttar Pradesh Act 11 of 1973), the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade by owners of a dangerous or offensive trade.

2. The matter has been examined. Every owner of a dangerous or offensive trade carrying on the carrying on of a dangerous or offensive trade shall make an application in Form B to the Director of Municipal Administration within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees.

3. The Sanitary Inspector shall ensure that assessment list is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Director of Municipal Administration within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Finance Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
