CIRCULAR
To
All Drugs Inspectors,
Subject: The sale of drugs by licensees under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, regarding.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 (30 of 2019), the National Medical Commission hereby issues the following
1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the sale of drugs by licensees.
2. The matter has been examined. Every licensee carrying on the sale of drugs shall make an application in Form 25 to the District Registering Authority within fourteen days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.
3. It is, accordingly, clarified that a separate application shall be made in respect of each place at which the sale of drugs is undertaken, and the District Registering Authority shall dispose of it within fourteen days of its receipt.
4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this circular may be brought to the notice of the National Medical Commission.
