STANDING ORDER

To

All Garrison Engineers,

Subject: The supply of stores by contractors supplying stores to the Force under the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, 1986 (Uttar Pradesh Act 7 of 1986), the Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the supply of stores by contractors supplying stores to the Force.

2. The matter has been examined. Every contractor supplying stores to the Force carrying on the supply of stores shall make an application in Form E to the Defence Estates Officer within sixty days, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees.

3. The Garrison Engineer shall ensure that building is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Defence Estates Officer within sixty days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
