STANDING ORDER

To

All Survey Commissioners,

Subject: The hereditary management of a temple by hereditary trustees under the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Madhya Pradesh Public Trusts Act, 1951 (Madhya Pradesh Act 30 of 1951), the Information Technology Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the hereditary management of a temple by hereditary trustees.

2. The matter has been examined. Every hereditary trustee carrying on the hereditary management of a temple shall make an application in Form H to the Charity Commissioner within ninety days, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees.

3. The Survey Commissioner shall ensure that register of trusts is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Charity Commissioner within ninety days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Information Technology Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
