STANDING ORDER

To

All Survey Commissioners,

Subject: The keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala under the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Uttar Pradesh Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Act, 1983 (Uttar Pradesh Act 29 of 1983), the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the keeping of a dharamshala by keepers of a dharamshala.

2. The matter has been examined. Every keeper of a dharamshala carrying on the keeping of a dharamshala shall make an application in Form B to the Endowments Tribunal within forty-five days, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees.

3. The Survey Commissioner shall ensure that donation receipt is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the Endowments Tribunal within forty-five days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Youth Services and Sports Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
