STANDING ORDER

All Chaperones,

Subject: The governance of a sport by national sports federations under the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974, regarding.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Telangana Gaming Act, 1974 (Telangana Act 2 of 1974), the Transport Department, Government of Telangana hereby issues the following Standing Order for the guidance of all officers subordinate to it:

1. References have been received seeking clarification on the manner in which section 9 applies to the governance of a sport by national sports federations.

2. The matter has been examined. Every national sports federation carrying on the governance of a sport shall make an application in Form H to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within seven days, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees.

3. The Chaperone shall ensure that register of athletes is dealt with as directed above, and shall report compliance to the National Anti-Doping Appeal Panel within seven days.

4. Difficulties, if any, in the implementation of this standing order may be brought to the notice of the Transport Department, Government of Telangana.
